About me

I’m a freelance web and interaction designer living near Vicenza, Italy. I’m currently collaborating with Mikamai and Develer.

Education

Computer Science degree at University of Trento in 1998.

Skills

I have strong knowledge of web standards and syndication formats (Atom, RSS). I have notions of typography, usability, information architecture and accessibility guidelines applied to the web.

I’m familiar with technologies like SVG, REST-ful web services and microformats. I know the following programming languages: Python (advanced), Javascript (intermediate), and Ruby (beginner). If it is absolutely necessary I can even read PHP code.

I’ve worked on several projects using Ruby on Rails and Django, two popular web frameworks and WordPress, a widespread blog publishing platform.

This site is meant to be a portfolio of projects realized during my freelance activity and a repository of code experiments made during my spare time.

I’ve called the site Passiomatic since my interest in web design is mostly driven by passion. I’ve learned everything I known about the craft of building web sites during the last eight years of activity in the field.
